This event and others around the world is to comemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, slaves were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation. M.I.S.C. will be at this event to spread the word of our services and support other businesses in the east contra costa area.  Come celebrate freedom and fathers on Sunday, June 19th while enjoying the awesome entertainment.
